Why Private Yoga Lessons

  • You are new to yoga or in the beginner phase.
  • You want to expand your practice in certain areas.
  • You have questions, want to slow down, or get customized adaptations in each pose.
  • You prefer not to do yoga in a group setting for any number of reasons.
  • You are returning to yoga after time away due to an injury or just time.
  • The multitude of ways our bodies have unique needs due to injuries, conditions, or stressors.
  • Individual private lessons are a great choice for everyone in order to create a yoga practice designed around your particular abilities, goals and needs. I have a passion for teaching one-on-one sessions with students as I feel it is the best way to learn yoga.

Beginners

Private lessons are perfect for brand new beginners just starting their yoga journey to learn at a pace that works for them. By receiving very specific alignment cues, you can develop a solid and safe foundation to then one day jump in group classes.

Specific Needs

One-on-one sessions are also ideal for those with specific injuries or health conditions that may require modifications that can be overlooked in a group setting. Anyone at any fitness level can benefit from a customized practice to fit their needs.

What to Expect

When registering for a private lesson we will work together with plenty of communication to find an exact practice that works for you. Before our first session together I send out a quick intake form and/or we have a phone discussion so I can learn all about your goals and history in order to prepare a lesson tailored to your needs.
