  • Individual private lessons are a great choice for everyone in order to create a yoga practice designed around your particular abilities, goals and needs. I have a passion for teaching one-on-one sessions with students as I feel it is the best way to learn yoga.

Beginners

Private lessons are perfect for brand new beginners just starting their yoga journey to learn at a pace that works for them. By receiving very specific alignment cues, you can develop a solid and safe foundation to then one day jump in group classes.

Specific Needs

One-on-one sessions are also ideal for those with specific injuries or health conditions that may require modifications that can be overlooked in a group setting. Anyone at any fitness level can benefit from a customized practice to fit their needs.

When registering for a private lesson we will work together with plenty of communication to find an exact practice that works for you. Before our first session together I send out a quick intake form and/or we have a phone discussion so I can learn all about your goals and history in order to prepare a lesson tailored to your needs.

Private Chair Yoga Lessons

Chair yoga private lessons are for everyone,  especially those interested in therapeutic and gentle movement due to an injury, special condition causing limited mobility, or simply wanting gentle modifications of regular yoga postures.

With special attention to stability, we will practice a full body sequence exploring yoga sitting and standing with the support of a chair. These postures will go on to help strengthen your muscles and balance throughout your day-to-day life while giving you a safe place to explore movement and mobility.

Together we'll begin and end our time with relaxation techniques to create a well rounded yoga experience, all from the chair.

Saturday Morning Hatha Yoga

Focus on the fine details of yoga postures and breath while creating space and tolerance in your body and mind. Explore meditation techniques, pranayama (breath work), and asana (poses). This class is designed for practitioners who have a solid foundation of yoga and a consistent practice, as well as those that are just starting their yoga journey. We’ll build on yoga basics and sequences, while offering variations and alignment cues for both beginning to experienced practitioners.

All levels - BEGINNERS WELCOME

Tuesday Hatha Yoga Flow

This class combines both classic hatha yoga postures with vinyasa flow in which we link the breath as we move from pose to pose. Class begins with a gentle yet active warm up before we pick up the pace and move at a slightly more vigorous speed while offering challenging options for established practitioners as well as gentle modifications suited for beginners to enjoy.
